Blog 16 : Final Reflection

Looking back at the beginning of the class I think I've became a better writter than I was before. HONESTLY I was a tad bit lazy when it came to writing because it never caught my interest the way Dr.Smith's Supernatural theme caught it. I love supernatural things I think thats why it was so easy for me. Well not that easy because the professor always did put a little twist on things but it was cool. Looking back at blog 1 it seems to me that I wasn't opening up my imagination the way it should be. But NOW looking at blog 15 my imagination has shot up. it's funny because now everytime I'm watching a movie or a TV show I see some of the literary terms I learned in my ENG 102 class ; I actually catch onto it. I kind of scare my parents when that happens LOL. I always shoot up out my seat and go "Holy cow I learned this in class before". haha I'm a little nerdy I know, but it's cool because I feel like I've actually learned something that I would see in my everyday routine. I'm always aware of foreshadowing in scary movies (Which is FULL of them) and symbolism etc. . My favorite shows, Supernatural and Vampire Diaries, have alot of symbolisms , foreshadowing and motifs. Now that I'm able to spot them its pretty cool.


I think SOME of my friends would be interested in taking this class. Most of my friends like this sort of thing - the unexplained, supernatural. My other friends are too girly for this, They're all about love, and romance and hearts and love. Blah - haha this topic is really interesting though, I know EVERYONE had a phase where they have a "Paranormal Activity" moment when their alone in their house and they hear or see some crazy Stuff(which by the way that movie scared the living everything out of me *embarassing*). So this topic and this class would be awesome for them because they can share it with the class. Hopefully my future professors would be as cool as Dr.smith. haha. Adios,bye
