Blog 2 : Poetry

The Poem I found I Searched on Google.com The I Typed in Poems about Ghosts. I'm really interested in ghosts; believe in them 100%.

Okay so when i pressed search a whole bunch of sites came up. This website came up first http://www.poetryfoundation.org/archive/tool.poem.cat.8.1.html?id=65 . I found it very useful because they had a whole section for supernatural, Ghost , Mythology & Folklore poems. It really narrowed it down for me. Made it easier to pick the perfect poem. I read a few like An Angel By Anne Stevenson & If Spirits Walks By Sophie Jewett. They were good But none of them caught my eyes.
So i searched again this time I typed in Angels And Demons poems and this poem came up

Angels and Demons

A constant battle going on in my head.
Internal conflict where plenty gets said.
Fighting to dominate, good against bad.
Feeling happy against feeling sad.
A battle field where I sit on my own.
Surrounded by Angels and Demons who roam.
Seeking to conquer the war of who's right.
The Angels sing out, the Demons they bite.
There I sit somewhere in between.
Irresponsible victim it would seem.

I like this poem a lot because is similar to a show i watch called "SuperNatural" ,A Constant fight against Angels & Demons.People make angels seem so loyal to god and guardians to us but in season 4 they introduced the Angels .White light, angelic faces and important morals .They put a twist on it though. They made the Angels Warriors of God but in the series the Prophet Zachariah told the main characters (Sam and Dean Winchester) that god told him that he WANTS Lucifer to rise and the apocalypse to happen. He Also told the main characters that The Angels were NOT going to stop Lucifer; That The ArcAngel Michael was going to Posses Dean & Lucifer was going to posses Sam. (Note They are Brothers) and they were going to fight to the finish. This constant fight between good VS evil, Right VS wrong is really driving a lot of people crazy. A war that were not even suppose to be apart of ; "Irresponsible Victim" .We can get hurt or become the victim of a battle that isn't even ours.
